not sure if this qualifies as 'experimental', however i was using a feature on my camera that i have not used before. photo of a fire in my fireplace taken with the night shot feature of my camera. i like this shot because it looks like an arabic word, written in fire. of course it could be any language, it's the fact that it's 'written' in fire that interests me.

the squirrels have not let the freezing temperatures deter them from their pumpkin munching fest.

the pumpkins that the boys decorated with markers for halloween are providing food for the numerous squirrels in the neighborhood. i actually caught this guy chawing down on the bigger one, but he turfed off as soon as i opened the door.
