to pierce or not to pierce...

so. i bought one of those faux body ring thangs this weekend, and at first i had it up on the cartiledge of my right ear (where the tattoo is) but it hurt like a bitch. i then moved it to my nose. this was while we were walking around in the mall, and i did it just for shits & giggles, i wouldn't actually wear it there all the time since i think it is too big for my nose. then, after washing it off (yes amie, LOL, i really did :P) i then wore it on my lip while wandering through target. that was fun and i am now addicted to it, heh. i am seriously considering getting it pierced but i wonder about trying to eat with it and all that, because i am a neurotic twit, heh heh. anyhow, here is a pic i snapped this morning with the fake in. i may wear it around for a few weeks and see how i like it. see if i like it enough to actually commit to a piercing.

yeah, yeah, ignore the zits on my chin. 31 years old and my fucking face still breaks out once a month, sheesh!

i also bought an album this weekend. well, i sort of bought it. see, when we purchased the new web cam, we were to receive a $25 gift card from beast buy. that arrived in the mail on saturday, so i picked up the dream of the blue turtles with it. i had the tape years ago, when it first came out. but it was stolen a few years later at a party my then roomate and i had. so i picked up the CD this time. after 18 years, it cost me $16. how glad am i that i was using a gift card? UGH. it's ludicrous how much music costs these days, but i will say it was worth it, this album kicks mucho bootay.
