hmmm....what would fake plants look like on OUR ceiling?
been playing with the camera some more. got this picture yesterday, when max was hiding, scared of something he thought he might see on my computer. something from here. it's that face that flashes at the very first. max calls it 'the quiet face'. he is utterly terrified of it, and has been since he was 2 or so. anyway, the other day, he BEGGED me to go to that site, even after i repeatedly told him that it would scare him, he persisted. this is what heppened. yesterday when i turned on my computer he ran screaming to his room, buried himself under the covers and was doing this:
i snapped a picture to show him when he is older, but it turned out so much better than i ever expected. now i want to frame it.

we took the boys to rainforest cafe last night, and they had a really good time. we were pleased because the kids meals were only 99 cents as opposed to the usual $5.99. so we got out of there fairly cheaply. it's funny, the place is a complete tourist trap, and it makes me laugh that they even call it 'rainforest cafe' and serve beef, but you know...it is kind of a neat place to go to. not one i like to frequently visit, as the prices are a bit on the outrageous side, but the food is good and the atmosphere is really cool. so going there every now and then isn't such a bad thing, heh. it happened to be family night, which occurs every wednesday, so the boys got to hug a person dressed as 'nile' the crocodile and a clown made balloon airplanes for them. just for the record, i think clowns are freaky, but this one wasn't too bad. except he was named 'cindy'. yeah. HE was named CINDY. *chuckle*
okay, time for me to go do something more productive, like chase the kids around the house, heh.
