cracked out
we got the new Neverwinter Nights expansion pack, Shadows of Undrentide. got it yesterday. yep. i have been seriously cracked out on it since then. sad really. i haven't played it continuously, i did take time out to cook, clean house and do various other things. but almost all of my free time has been occupied with it, heh.

i so want to be one of these. gonna have to work up to that character class though. but even the name shadowdancer sounds too cool.
i am such a damn geek. i really am.
of course (in a murphy's law kind of way that is), most of yesterday we were offline. our damn cable modem fried out in this heinous thunderstorm on friday night, and our cable company won't have someone out to fix it until monday. it's odd though, because we did manage to get my computer hooked up to it via USB, which makes it slower than shit. well slower than it usually is. so that's how i am posting now. it's also very unrelaiable when connected this way. i have had to reboot the modem a couple times today already, and i wasn't really online too much, was just trying to look something up when it decided to die. hope they give us a new modem. the tech support person tried to say that it was probably our router that was fried, but the damned modem wasn't working even with a direct connection to the computer. he had aaron go through all this rigamarole that was really useless, and aaron knew it, even tried to tell the guy so, but he wouldn't listen.
so, anyway...that's been my weekend. not too thrilling really, heh. hmmm, wonder when amie is getting home...
